Do you
need help to view this site?
Tumblong has been designed
to run on browsers equivalent to Netscape 3 or Internet
Explorer 3 with the Flash Plugin installed. Your computer
requires at least 24 MB of RAM with at least 17 MB allocated
to Netscape. Preferably you should not be running any other
applications. Internet access at speeds greater than 28.8
bps is recommended.
For optimum viewing, you
will need the Flash plugin. To get the Flash plugin, go
to
http://www.macromedia.com/shockwave/download/index.cgi?
P1_Prod_Version=Shockwave
Flash
When you have downloaded this plugin, install it, and
restart your browser. When you go to the home page of
Tumblong, (http://www.tumblong.uts.edu.au/), you should see five little hands
flashing across the screen, to the sound of the Tumblong
intro music. Clicking on one of these hands will take you
into Tumblong.
If you have recently
installed your browser or plugins, you may need to configure
your browser preferences to recognise the flash animation in
Tumblong, especially for Internet Explorer.
If you see a "potential safety violation" message on your
PC, you right click on the browser application icon on your
desktop and select 'properties'. From the 'Safety Levels'
dialogue box, change your security levels to 'medium'. You
will be warned of all security matters - you can then OK the
viewing of flash.
